This week, Coke announced they’re going to be releasing a 90 calorie mini Coca-Cola that will come in a 7.5 fluid ounce can. Hmm interesting…
I appreciate the notion of trying to help consumers be more healthy but for me when I drank soda, I drank it just to drink something. If I had a 7.5 ounce 90 calorie coke, I’d probably just drink two.
What do you think?

This is where my mom or dad would chime in saying that 6oz was the original size of a Coke, while 8oz was 'King Size.'
I think it's more of a economic psychology thing. Are you really that more satisfied by the marginal utility of more ounces of Coke? Or do you just want to have more available to you?
Also, whether you're drinking the soda with a meal or not may play a factor. I'd be more likely to drink an entire 12oz can while eating something spicy or salty (chili, Chinese, Cajun, etc…) than on its own.
Either way, I don't really drink soda anymore either.
